Roger Nicholas Balsiger – Chairman of the Board
Roger Nicholas Balsiger held a large number of international leadership positions in asset management as well as in the insurance and pension fund sectors during his career. As the great-grandson of Heinrich Moser, pioneer in watchmaking and industry, he is the honorary Chairman of the Moser Watch Holding AG Schaffhausen and President of the Heinrich and Henri Moser foundation. He is also member of the board of several NPOs. Roger N. Balsiger was the last British honorary consul in Zurich and is member of various associations.
Roger Nicholas Balsiger was born in Torquay (UK) on July 10, 1943 and was educated in Switzerland and England. He is married, father to three sons and citizen of both Switzerland and the UK. Roger N. Balsigers´ mother tongues are German and English. He is also well grounded in French.
During his adolescence he began studies in music before pursuing a career in the financial sector. He gained the Federal Certificate of Vocational Training and Education in commerce with honors and further educated himself abroad. His professional career includes:
- High-level leadership positions in the financial sector in London, Paris and Zurich until 1982
- Member of the management board of Zurich Financial Services from 1983 to1995 including the development of new international markets in Europe, Northern America and Middle East (of which 8 years as head of the Dubai branch)
- Member of the management board of Credit Suisse/Winterthur-Columna from 1995 to 1997:
Responsible for marketing and market presence of the joint venture company Winterthur-Columna (Assets close to CHF 100 billions)
- Head Global Benefits and member of the management Credit Suisse Group/Winterthur Life from 1998 to July 2005 (retirement)
Roger N. Balsiger is the honorary Chairman of the Moser Watch Holding AG Schaffhausen, owner of the watch brand “H. Moser & Cie.” as well as President of the Heinrich and Henri Moser foundation. As the great-grandson of Heinrich Moser, pioneer in watchmaking and industry, he published several books, biographies and articles about his ancestors since 1969 and took part in radio and television broadcasts about the family.
He is Managing Partner of RNB Consulting GmbH, Chairman of the board of finatris AG and board member of the NPOs SITECO, SITP and SIDI. He holds mandates from international financial services corporations as well as companies in the energy sector and is co-owner of the cm1-crisis-management-all-in-one GmbH.
Roger N. Balsiger was the last British honorary consul in Zurich. He is a member of the board of directors and of the public relations commission of the British-Swiss chamber of commerce, supporting member of the Zurich Concert Hall orchestra and member of the Swiss association for foreign affairs, the international Bach-association, and many more.
Victor Dario – Member of the Board
Being a financial and management consultant Victor Dario is currently managing partner at CGZ Consulting Gruppe Zürich and vice president of the board of directors at PHZ Privat- und Handelsbank AG in Zurich.
After obtaining his university degree in economics and business administration with a focus on monetary policy from the University of Zurich Victor Dario launched his career in commercial banking at UBS AG.
With over ten years of banking experience he took over the leadership of the lending business of Bankinvest AG in Zurich and was ultimately responsible for the overall management of the bank as deputy director general.
Being a financial and management consultant Victor Dario is currently managing partner at CGZ Consulting Group Zürich and vice president of the board of directors at PHZ Privat- und Handelsbank AG in Zurich.
Barbara Wepener-Moor – Member of the Board
Barbara Wepener-Moor has been an entrepreneur with a large professional network for more than 30 years. She dedicates her spare time to contemporary art.
Barbara Wepener-Moor, born in Zurich, graduated in English and French from the school for interpreters Zurich. She became a self-employed entrepreneur after various positions at multinational companies such as Jacobs Suchard, Alcan and Alusuisse. During that period she largely expanded her professional network.
She dedicates her spare time passionately to sports and contemporary art as a collector as well as a visitor of art fairs and museums.
Andreas Pusch – Chief Executive Officer
After successful positions at hedge funds and asset managers Andreas Pusch took over the executive management of finatris by end of 2008. Andreas Pusch was instrumental in the development of the finatris Portfolio Simulator as well as the PrognosD Trend Cockpit.
After graduating in aerospace engineering in 1995 Andreas Pusch initially launched his career in the construction and development of satellites on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA).
As a stock exchange enthusiast he began developing stable trading strategies for asset management during his studies already. Andreas Pusch was convinced of being able to transfer his know-how about the position control of high-frequency satellite sensor data on high-frequency stock exchange data. As a consequence, he entered the financial industry in 1998 which brought him to finatris in 2008 via successful positions at hedge funds and asset managers.
